PRACTICE LOCATION

Practices are held at Mattson Middle School, in the mat room, from early October through the end of January.

Any changes or updates to the schedule will be posted on Band.

Practice Days and Times:

Practices are held Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

6:00pm - 8:00pm

Practices may be moved due to facility availability, coach schedules, etc.*

The first practice will be on Tuesday, October 7th from 6pm-8pm.

*We will post updates / changes to practice days, locations, or times on Band throughout the season.

Season:

Our normal season consists of four round robins, one dual meet and one JV/exhibition tournament.

Round Robin tournaments are usually 7am-3pm and do not include a medal. They are a great way to get mat time and wrestle against kids from other clubs.

Dual meets run from around 7am – 4pm

There are optional tournaments throughout the year, which are highly encouraged because of the experience they provide. Tournaments typically provide 2 – 3 matches and the opportunity to earn a medal. Plan on them lasting from about 7am to 3pm.

At the completion of the regular season there will be three post-season tournaments for those who qualify: Sub-Division, Division, and the League Championship.

There is also a Rising Star tournament for wrestlers that do not qualify for the Sub-Division tournament.
